Kenneth Omeruo produced an awkward own goal that
cancelled out Alanyaspor’s lead in their 4-3 Turkish
League home victory over Gaziantepspor.
Ilhan Parlak sent his freekick in deep into Alanyaspor box
and , despite there not being any Gaziantepspor players
close to him, the 23-year-old put the ball past goalkeeper
Zdenek Zlamal in his attempt to clear the ball – to erase
Emre Akbaba’s opener.
Five minutes into halftime, Evans Kangwa gave the
visitors lead but second half strikes from Daniel
Candeias, Wilde-Donald Guerrie and Vagner Love’s last
minute strike handed Hüseyin Kalpar’s men a hard
earned win.
The victory takes Alanyaspor to the 11th position with 11
points from 10 matches.
Omeruo has made eight appearances in the Turkish
topflight this season since moving on loan from Chelsea
